Beskrivning av Icelandic Weymouth Bit HERNING double broken
Unlike a dressage curb bit, the Island curb bit does not have an upper branch, which makes it less effective on the poll and primarily targets the mouth and chin through the chin chain. The Island curb bit is ridden without an underlying bit, meaning its sharpness mainly depends on how tightly the chin chain is adjusted.
The mouthpiece is attached to the cheekpieces in a way that allows for movement. The double-jointed mouthpiece distributes pressure evenly over the tongue and bars. The central joint made of SWEET Copper, which has a sweet taste, is particularly well accepted by horses and encourages chewing.
This bit is not suitable for the gymnastic training of horses and is intended only for horses that are primarily ridden using seat and leg aids.
